The reason why Ranger decided to establish the new plant in this development zone has to be referred to the fact that “Jading” will be leader as strategic industrial area compared with the others; there are already 300 investment projects from 20 countries that means a turnover of 7 milliards $.

The building of the new plant will start in December 2006.
The first building plot will have an area of 6.000sqm, 5.000sqm dedicated to the production.

RANGER SHANGHAI LTD, the name has been already approved, has been officially incorporated on the 24th July 2006.

The production activity will start in the middle of the year 2007.

In China there are more that 3000 Companies involved in the composite materials market, only 30 in the automotive field, with a low technological level.
Moreover the 70% of these could not satisfy the growing requests of the Chinese market.
In the 2005 the Chinese automotive market produced 6.000.000 units, becoming the third world manufacturer.
In the 2006 the sells in the trucks field come to 350.000 units, with a real prospect of growing prospects. 

Our aim, through this new Ranger Company, is to carry out our experience and know-how in the automotive and trucks fields but that’s not all.
The Chinese market, as far as the composite materials is concerned, is developing fast and Ranger wants to open up its own horizons also in other fields.
The actual Ranger team, dedicated to the China project, is made up of six employees, four of whom are Chinese mother tongue.
